CUET Sociology mock tests and practice

CUET Sociology asks you to recognise ideas in their own words: caste, family, market, community and the thinkers behind each view. It reads easily, and the syllabus follows the NCERT text, so the options reward knowing what the book says.

    108 questions
  2. Social Change and Development in India

    172 questions

Counted 25 Oct from the live bank. The count is refreshed every day.

Where Sociology marks are won

Indian Society covers demography, institutions, inequality and diversity. Its questions test terms and the examples the book uses, so read the text itself, including the boxes.

Social Change and Development in India covers structural and cultural change, democracy, rural and industrial society, globalisation, media and movements. Statement questions here reward knowing exactly what the book says, which timed sets reveal fast.

How MockMob turns Sociology practice into marks

  • A fresh paper every time

There is no fixed list of Sociology mocks to run out of. Each paper is built the moment you start it, from the 280 Sociology questions in the bank, with questions you have not answered put first. Pro puts no cap on how many you take; on Free each paper uses credits.

  • See exactly where the marks went

After every mock, the review shows the time you spent on each question, every answer you changed and the Sociology chapter behind each miss. Chapter review is free after every mock.

  • Fix the mistake, then prove it

Mobi fixes a mistake for good: why your pick looked right, where it breaks and what to remember, written from the official key. Fresh questions on the same idea come back later to check the fix held. One credit a fix.

  • Ask Mobi about any Sociology doubt

Stuck on a concept? Ask Mobi. Your doubt is answered and tested on two new CUET-style questions, for one credit. Everything Mobi reads from your own record is free.

  • Sit a paper with your Mob

A Mob is up to five friends on the same ten questions each week, free of credits. When you have all sat it, compare how each of you picked.

CUET Sociology questions, answered

Is NCERT enough for CUET Sociology?
NTA sets domain subjects as per the NCERT syllabus, and the Sociology topics follow the two Class 12 NCERT books. Read them closely, including the boxed examples, and practise objective questions under time.
Which Sociology chapters should I revise first?
Start with the Indian Society chapters, which are compact, then the change and development chapters. Chapter review after each mock shows which ones cost you marks.
How is the CUET Sociology paper marked?
50 questions in 60 minutes, all compulsory. A right answer is +5, a wrong one is -1, and a question left blank is 0, so the paper is out of 250. MockMob marks every full mock the same way.
How many Sociology mocks can I take on MockMob?
As many as you want. The Sociology bank holds 280 checked questions (counted 25 Oct), and each paper is built from it when you start, with questions you have not answered first. Pro has no cap. On Free, each paper uses credits. A long run of papers can bring back a question you have seen; NTA mode names any repeat on the paper.
